About: Nacho Mama’s Street Taqueria, LLC founder, Ray, was inspired while working one hot summer day in a lumberyard in his hometown of Nacogdoches, Texas. During lunch many of his Mexican friends crowded around an old van driven by a Mexican lady. She would stop by everyday to sell her homemade tacos, tortas, and burritos wrapped in foil and kept in a cooler. Ray was hesitant to try food from a total stranger, especially one selling it out the back of a van, but once he did, he was amazed by the freshness and flavors. It was then that his passion for fresh Mexican cuisine really began to take off. After coming to Atlanta, Georgia, Ray continued to pursue his love for culinary arts by obtaining training at Le Cordon Bleu. Nacho Mama’s Street Taqueria allows him to serve his own interpretation of the special flavors offered that hot summer day in the lumberyard. Nacho Mama’s Street Taqueria combines authentic Mexican cuisine with a twist of Texas and a hint of classical culinary training to bring an exciting, bold, tingle your taste bud flavors to the street.
