Food Network’s The Great Food Truck Race competitors hit the streets of Atlanta
Food Network’s hit television show, The Great Food Truck Race, is filming in the streets of our fare city and competitors will be serving up culinary delights to hungry Atlantans.
Here’s the scoop on Food Network’s latest hit reality show. Gourmet food trucks are put into a culinary race across the country to test their skills, knowledge and speed. Along the way, competitors must battle it out to be the most cunning and business savvy street food vendor with the ultimate goal of winning the grand prize of $100,000.
Want to check out the final three contestants? Here’s a rundown of where you can find each truck this weekend. Let’s show Food Network how much Atlanta loves their street food!
Roxy’s Grilled Cheese: (@RoxysGrilledChz) will be hitting Piedmont Park during the day on Saturday, Star Bar in Little 5 that evening, and Virginia-Highlands on Sunday. As a little extra, Atlanta’s most awesome (and fast expanding) King of Pops will be there on Sunday.
Hodge Podge: (@HodgePodgeTruck) is also in town and will be at Atlantic Station on Saturday from noon until 9pm. Sunday, they’ll be joining Roxy’s in Virgina-Highland at 841 N. Highland Ave. from noon until 9pm.
The Lime Truck: (@TheLimeTruck) will also be here. On Saturday, you’ll be able to find them at Colony Square (the corner of 14th and P’tree) for lunch. On Sunday, they’ll be swinging around front of the AMC Theater at Atlantic Station.
