Welcome to the Atlanta Street Food Coalition
Thanks for visiting the Atlanta Street Food Coalition website! Our mission is simple: to campaign for safe, affordable, and legal access to street food in Atlanta, Georgia and the surrounding metro area.
Class is in session! Don’t miss the return of the Atlanta Street Food Coalition(ASFC)’s popular “Street Food 101,” an in-depth workshop designed to guide you through the ins and outs of mobile food entrepreneurship in metro Atlanta.
The ASFC is proud to announce the full release of our first e-book “The Atlanta Street Food Guidebook”. Authored by Atlanta street food veterans and small business attorneys Greg and Maggie Smith, the Guidebook is your detailed, go-to guide for street food entrepreneurship in the city.
Maine, synonymous with excellent seafood, the “Tasting Maine” Food Truck is bringing that unique taste in flavor to the Atlanta area. Lobster, Clams, Haddock, Scallop’s, Swordfish, Clam Cakes, and chowders, to name a few. If you have trouble finding us, just look for the closest Lighthouse and the distant sound of our Foghorn!
For more adventurous tastes, we can provide foods based on Traditional Eskimo and Alaska Native diets. We have family, friends, and Alaskan connections that can create custom menus and recipes found at few places in the world. With enough advance notice, we can transport your taste buds to the icy Arctic coast of Northern Alaska or the remote rivers of an interior bush village!
Our Snoballs give you mouth-watering flavor in every bite! Look for our Retro “Shasta” Camper around Atlanta and you will find our one-of-a kind Snoballs!
I grew up with a Filipino mother that could not resist making mounds of food whenever my friends would come over. This is how Filipinos expressed their love whenever family and friends would get together. There were just crazy amounts of food. Dish after dish of all of the comfort foods would be laid out on giant tables and everyone would just eat and eat and eat. All the while listening to music and drinking the islands popular San Miguel beer. Coming together and feeling the love of family and eating great food.
We are back and looking forward to reconnecting with our old guests while connecting and building a rapport with new guests. We “Cook with a Kick” while providing a fun, friendly and fabulous atmosphere. We have added a few new items to our menu like our Cajun Grilled Pasta, Shrimp & Grits and our Gator bites. If you like great seafood and something a little different stop by and see us…… We won’t disappoint you!
